heavily potted of deep form, the steep slightly rounded sides carved with a band of peony flowers and foliage between vertical grooves at the base and a combed foliate meander below the lipped rim, covered overall with a sea-green glaze pooling unevenly short of the unglazed footrim burnt orange in the firing

Condition Report
Some surface wear and scratches. Fine brownish vertical glaze cracks overall. The base of the interior with a crack just outside the central disc approx 4cm and another around the edge of the central disc approx 5 cm. The glaze on the exterior of darker tone where falling slightly thicker over the central frieze. Otherwise generally good condition.
