the black lacquer ground inlaid predominantly in bone, jade and polychrome stained bone with precious objects including a vase of fruiting and flowering stems, a miniature landscape with lingzhi fungus, an elephant carrying a vase on its back, and an archaic style chariot, all within the mother of pearl inlaid wood frame

Condition Report
A small piece of branch missing approx 1cm from the upper arched fruiting branch. A hairline crack on the mouth of the vase, the jade plaque with a fissure across the lower right side and a small gap in the ivory surrounding the jade plaque at the right side. Possibly a small piece chipped off a fungus head in the jardiniere, and the jade cut down on one side to form the rockwork.. A fine crack across the jade disc wheel of the bird chariot and a slight gap in the ivory surround.
