Condition Report
The painting has been relined and cleaned and the surface craquelure evident in the lower section of the painting is stable. There are areas of retouching most noticeably to the sky and cloud areas, which are not visible to the naked eye. There is a vertical area to the upper right of the sky which suggests infilling and retouching and another vertical strip to the lower left across the boat and water below which also suggests infilling and retouching.
Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed professional report.
