naturalistically carved as a prunus blossom with flaring overlapping petals forming the cup, the exterior carved in high relief with branches bearing prunus buds and blossoms and with bamboo shoots, extending over the sides from the openwork boughs forming the foot, the handle to one side formed of flowering branches in pierced relief rising to the rim and extending onto the interior, the horn of a deep caramel colour

Condition Report
A piece approx 2.5 cm x 1.5 cm on the edge of the spout re-attached. A section of the openwork foot repaired approx 2 cm. A hairline crack extending from the rim towards the centre approx 6 cm. The tip of the branch extending over the rim possibly chipped off, minor rim frits, and a small infill approx 0.5 cm near the handle.
