American made, serial number L47820, 'Transition' headstock decal, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, twenty one frets, seven and a quarter inch fretboard radius, synchronised tremolo, clay dot markers, six nickel 'Kluson' machine heads, Alder body, neck butt stamped '2 SEP 64 B', multi-ply mint pickguard, three single coil pickups, one volume control, two tone controls, five-way switch, aftermarket brown hard case with orange interior, acquired on 17 August 1989
