The Aero-Compax was first introduced in the 1940s by Universal at the time of the Second World War. A watch for collectors, this piece offers more than chronograph capabilities as it houses a unique patented complication, namely a second time display at noon. This reminder dial has independent hour and minute hands which the wearer sets by the crown at 9 to register a specific time. This could be used in military operations or to keep a specific time as a reference. The three other subsidiary dials show the constant seconds and chronograph registers.
