The 125 Turismo Rapido was MV’s first venture away from the utilitarian two-stroke bikes which they had started to produce post war in 1946. Designed by Pietro Remor (who also was the designer of the Gilera 4), the 125TR remained in production from 1954 to 1958. The 125 was noted for its impeccable road manners with excellent brakes, road holding and a willing 54 x 54 mm 125cc pushrod OHV engine.

The model here has been restored in Italy and being a 1958 model benefits from the many improvements made over the four years of production. This bike is definitely eligible for the Australian Giro d’Italia and may well also be eligible for the actual Italian event. This bike has all necessary import documentation.
