1990 RIVA FERRARI 32 - WITHDRAWN
1990 RIVA FERRARI 32 - WITHDRAWNEstimate $220,000 – $250,000
The Ferrari CAD team and the Riva engineers and designers worked together to design and produce a unique speedboat, that was fast and luxurious, and which immediately conveyed the heritage, sophistication and style of both of these most famous of marques.
The Riva Ferrari 32 is the result of classic hull lines meets Formula One (the boat even has a spoiler which adds to the dramatic look as well as to safety and speed), with that indefinable Italian flair thrown in to the mix. With a design indicative of the very late 1980s, the boat is, however, a remarkable and harmonious blend of two of Italy’s most revered scuderia and cantiere.
Only 40 of these remarkable, sleek speedsters were created, in a limited edition, available only in Ferrari red, originally solely for customers of Ferrari and Riva. The quality of fixtures and fittings is in true Riva style and the boat derives its power and speed from not one, but two petrol 400hp V8 BPM Vulcano engines, providing a top speed of 100kmh.
Below decks is generous berthing for two, a cleverly concealed w.c. and ample stowage space to complete the exotic package that was put together when this 10 metre fiberglass collaboration was born.
The example we offer is understood to be Hull Number 7 of the limited edition and is believed to have had only two previous owners and that this Riva Ferrari 32 has only been used in fresh water for 150 hours. It is the only known Riva Ferrari 32 in Australia having recently arrived from Japan with all import papers and duties paid. It appears in excellent original condition and according to its owner, all parts are fully factory and it has never sustained any damage. This boat has all necessary import documentation.
